Using
political and economic analysis, forward forecast on economic indicators
(interest rates, exchange rates, inflation etc.), impacts and influences on
different sectors and ASPI estimates for the complete year as well as other
pertinent or related circumstances that may sway market behaviour, we explain
our approach to medium and long term investors in the market.

The end
of the trading week will see the Weekly Report capturing a summary of the week's
trading statistics, a market commentary, our views on the future weeks, an
economic snapshot and a collection of 'daily reports' released by us during that
week. The confidence placed in this report is amply demonstrated by the wide use
of our data through regular columns published by leading newspapers and as
analysis used by electronic media.

| Daily Valuation Sheet |
Released at the end of each trading day, the
Daily Valuation Sheet (DVS) captures data on the core coverage stocks under our
purview. The basis of selecting these stocks into our core coverage is mainly
the market capitalization, free float and the financial fundamentals of the
stock. The valuation sheet includes the historic dividend, earnings and share
price details on these stocks as well as the projected earnings, dividends and
net assets together with our current recommendation

| Sector Reports |
These
would elaborate on a particular sector/industry taking into account the overview
of the sector, analysis of the companies/stocks in that sector with forward
forecasts and our recommendations on each of them.

The
main tool that communicates our analysis on latest developments to the clients
and sales staff, our Daily Report includes information that would affect the
stock prices under our purview (core coverage stocks). These may include
scrutiny of quarterly results, any expansion plans or new ventures announced by
the companies and the projected impact of these based on our analysis.

An
analysis based on just one company (only selected stocks), investigated in more
in depth detail, including information pertaining to competitive sectors and
industries the company operates within. Comprehensive forward forecasts and
recommendations are also given.

Working within our philosophy of total customer service, we also adhere to special requests made by clients to carry out research on any other pertinent areas where additional information is required.
While utilizing the wide network of HNB branches island wide, we have augmented operations in three Four of Sri Lanka's most populous towns outside Colombo, which are Matara, Kandy, Jaffna and Kurunegala.. These branches conduct fully-fledged operations including on-line real time trading, registration in the CDS, Lodging Securities Certificates and Transfer of shares, in addition to conducting awareness programmes for students and investors.
